So I think I found the best way to wake yourself up in the morning: get a skilled driver to take you out on the highway at ridiculous speeds and hang out the window. This works much better when it's already cold out and the effective wind chill is brain-numbing. But hey, if my commute to work every day was in a convoy of 150 some odd finely tuned cars, I'd have to begin to wonder if I was dreaming.
The Fall Kanc Cruise '09 was a tremendous experience and gave me a chance to get the whole community vibe, something I'll likely never want to give up. The only problem with having so many great looking cars in one area is that I never know where to start taking pictures and I can never get all the shots I want. Seems like a pretty good problem to have.
The cruise was more than a great time and my apologies go out to my driver, Mark, for my continual violation of his number one rule, seat belts always on. I am a bit disappointed as I didn't get a chance to break my own record in the Civic by getting sideways with all four wheels off the ground, but there should be plenty more opportunities for that.
